Lil Jon and longtime friends from ATL DJ Searcy, Vince P. and Rob Mac crunk up BME Recordings in 2001 after reaching regional success with the first Lil Jon and the EastSide Boys indy releases in the late 90s. The BME (short for Black Market Entertainment) owners each had been dong his own thing while building the label up. Lil Jon Producing and performing / Dj Searcy as a major DJ and Radio Personality / Vince P. as consultant and legal for a number of the present successful labels in Atlanta and Rob Mac as a Producer and Manager for a number of successful labels and artist in ATL as well. After much hard work BME has launched careers for its artist: Lil Scrappy, Bohagon, Trillville, Crime Mob, Chyna Whyte and Oobie.
