My Favorites are too long to list so this is what I've been listening to recently:
Gojira, Motorhead, Puscifer, The Tossers, Death, Divine Heresy, Lamb of God, Meshuggah, Gogol Bordello and Orange Goblin. I've also been on an old blues kick so I've been listening to a lot of Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Skip James and the great Leadbelly.
My Favs: Seven,High Tension,Fight Club,The Devil's Rejects,Memento,The Jacket, Rob Zombie's Halloween, Jet Li's Fearless
I recently saw Clint Eastwood's new flick Gran Turino. Clint had me cracking up the whole movie. If you're politically correct and offended by racial slurs, you'll want to skip this one.
Television
Sabres! Sabres!! SABRES!!!
The new season of Dexter is over and it was yet more proof that this is the best show on TV. Luckily the new season of 24 is about to start or I wouldn't watch much other than the news and sports.
Books
Imajica - Clive Barker
It - Stephen King
Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien
I've been a horror fan since I read my first Stephen King book. In my humble opinion Clive Barker is one of the best writer's of all time. To me he is the best. I was hooked from the first book of short stories I read by him :"In The Flesh". "Imajica" in my opinion is the best novel ever written of any genre. Another really great read by Barker if you're looking for less than 1,ooo pages is "Sacrament" and you'll never go wrong with the "Books of Blood" which are 3 collections of his short stories.
Heroes
Cliff Burton (Best Bassist of All Time)
Teppo Numminen -- the MF'er is coming back this year after 19 seasons and after undergoing open heart surgery -- I don't care what you say that makes him the baddest MF'er in NHL history!!
I love music, poker, horror movies, and of course hockey! I'm an anti-religion(all religion) atheist and I'm a sucker for politics. I enjoy good conversation and debate with reasonable, intelligent people. I know enough wackos in real life so I don't need any on the internet. If you love metal ,click on Gojira in my friends, The Way of All Flesh was without a doubt the best album of the year.
Maynard James Keenan, Rob Zombie, Alexandre Aja, Lindy Ruff, Dave Mustaine, Johnny Depp, Peter Dolving, Jello Biafra, Al Jourgenson, Clive Barker, Micheal Moore, Pete Rose, Stephen King, John Stewart and Bill Maher
