About me: Memorable Dates In My History:
1. The first public library in Batesville, Indiana: February 7, 1938.
2. The new Batesville Memorial Public Library opened: August 12, 1974.
3. The library expanded, doubling its size: October 2, 1988.
4. The library's service district was expanded to include those portions of Laughery and Adams Townships within the Batesville Community School Corporation district in Ripley County, and all of Ray Township in Franklin County: 1994-95.
