Hi, my name is Bob Stovall. There are other Bob Stovall's in the world, and I've had occasion to speak with a few of them. Generally a nice lot, there are Bob Stovalls who are famous (Bob Stovall, the Wall Street analyst), dedicated (Bob Stovall, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service), and musical (Bob Stovall, the musician). I'm sure there are many others that I haven't met yet. I'm just glad to be the Bob Stovall that I am.
And just what kind of Bob Stovall is that? Well, I've done had several different careers in my life. But none has been more satisfying than, for lack of a better term, I'll call Internet marketing. I began that journey in 1991, marketing an association for photographers on CompuServe, a start-up named America Online and various Bulletin Board Services (BBSs).
I've free-lanced for various agencies in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and run my own web hosting and marketing business, Orange Cat Productions LLC since 1996. By blog, BobStovall.com, began as a regular website with marketing information in 1998. After several changes of emphasis, it became my blog on marketing and life.
I lived in New Jersey from my birth until October 2003, when my wife and I moved to Danville, Kentucky to join friends who had moved here previously. The change of scenery has been great and moving somewhere - anywhere - is an experience in learning and adaptation I'd recommend to anyone.
We invest in real estate here in the Bluegrass, so anyone who has the urge to try somewhere different, where a quiet, refined, slower pace of life is the norm, should have a look at our real estate site, YourKentuckyHome.com.
The Internet Marketing company I started in 1996 - Orange Cat Productions - specializes in helping small businesses "Dominate Your Local Market!"
With marketing, hosting and website and design services provided through OrangeCat.net and my information blog at BobStovall.com, my aim is to help select clients increase their market share in their local area.
