Now I am not going to put the stupid things here like "I like all music but country but I secretly listen to it sometimes..." because that is not what the music section is to me. To me it is a chance for all true musicians to put some of their favorite pieces to play, to preform, to dance to, to compose, to conduct, and anything else a musician would do to music. I have to start this off and say that Dmitri Shostakovich is my all time favorite composer. Over two years of my band life he has been responsible for the pieces that we have played and I have loved them so much. Folk Dances was my first taste of his work and I have to say that piece pushed me beyond what any all region piece has. Then we tried playing that again with new kids but that didn't work as well, his pieces are amazing but do like all pieces require vigorous practice. I would have to say that my personal favorite piece of music that I have preformed was Scherezade as a marching piece, Bluebird was an amazing jazz piece to preform, and Folk Dances was an incredable classical music piece to even attempt for a group of 7th and 8th graders...I LOVE THIS CORP GO CAVS!!!!

i never really tried to get good grades in high school. its just a joke kinda. ya...they can help to get you into good colleges but i dono. i never got straight A's until this past semester lol and i actually tried lol
