Bobbie Eakes plays the the role of 'Krystal Carey' on the ABC daytime television drama, "All My Children." Born on July 25th and raised in Warner Robbins, Georgia, 5-foot-4-inch Bobbie Eakes originally moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, but before long, she got her first break in the acting biz: a role on Laverne & Shirley. She didn't give up on singing though, and became a member of the all girl band Big Trouble, which performed as the house band on the syndicated series Comedy Break. When the band broke up, she was offered the role of Macy Alexander on the CBS daytime television drama The Bold & the Beautiful, which she took on in 1989. Bobbie sang frequently on the show, often with co-star and friend Jeff Trachta (ex-Thorne); their CD's, Bold and Beautiful Duets I and II, went double-platinum in Europe, where B&B is especially popular. She left B&B in 2000 and returned two years later. In 2003, when Bobbie landed the role of Krystal Carey on 'All My Children' so Bobbie and her husband David Steen relocated to New York City. The emmy nominated actress has also hosted the Top 20 Country Countdown for the Great American Country Network and released two solo albums; 'Here and Now' in 1998 and 'Something Beautiful' in 2005. In her spare time, Bobbie enjoys donating her time to various charities and loves to paint. Thank you for becoming a friend. Maybe, people are not perfect. Maybe, friendships sometime falter. Maybe, relations are only significant within a specific occasion. However, love never fails. Today, love yourself. Tomorrow, love who you may be. Any other time, remember the love from others. God bless.
Sent an angel to watch over you last night, but it came back. I asked, "why?" Angels don't watch over angels".....Twenty angels are in the world. Ten are sleeping, and nine are playing and one is reading this comment.....Send this to ten friends including me...........Gwendolyn
