"A home run all the way, Bob Burger stands tall as a contender for year's top 10 albums, regardless of genre. And, as Burger proves, great music transcends genres, or, perhaps, creates new genres where necessary. So, what we have here must be... Burgeresque!" - Alan Haber, budge.com
Bob Burger is a singer/songwriter renowned for his skill in composing hundreds of hookladen songs, as well as for the energy and emotion of his live performances. He has written songs for recording artists Styx, Donnie Iris, Glen Burtnik, Bobby Bandiera and many others, as well as for media conglomerates like HBO Pictures.
To date, Bob has released three solo CDs: Christmas Can't Wait (2007), Surprise Party (2007) and Cymbals At Dawn (2003) all on his independent BIG BRAVE Music label. Bob's work has been hailed for its master song crafting, musicianship and production quality. The CDs feature veteran players including Jimmy Leahey (John Waite), PK Lavengood (John Eddie), Bobby Bandiera (Bon Jovi, Asbury Jukes, Bruce Springsteen), Joe Bellia (Asbury Jukes), Jerry Gaskill (King's X), Rob Tanico (Highway 9) and Plink Giglio (Glen Burtnik).
Bob has been a long time songwriting collaborator with Glen Burtnik, penning many of the featured tracks appearing on Glen's solo records including "Spinning My Wheels" and "Watching the World Go By." After Burtnik joined Styx, Bob co-wrote the title cut of the Styx Edge of the Century CD for which he earned a Gold Record award. Other Burtnik/Burger songs featured on Styx records are "It Takes Love to Make Love", "Little Suzie" (Styx Greatest Hits (Part 2)) and most recently "Killing The Thing That You Love" (Cyclorama).
Bob performs regularly on the Jersey Shore in both acoustic and electric venues. Recent notable events include gala CD promotional band performances, sold out NJ Rock-N-Soul Revue shows at Count Basie Theatre, performances with Bruce Springsteen at his annual holiday shows and school benefit performances, band member at Glen Burtnik's annual Beatles Bash tribute to the White Album, a private booking by Jon Bon Jovi at his 2007 star-studded, headline-making Labor Day party which featured an impromptu jam session with guests Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Roger Waters and Jimmy Buffet, and several backing and opening performances for National Recording Artists.
Sounded great as always Bob, and a belated happy birthday..we were happy that it was a B-Day show in Red Bank...wouldn't miss seeing you and Jimmy for anything...you're amazing...

John and I were behind the sound board at the Pony for your performance celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the club.
While John and I saw you a few times at the Celtic Cottage when we lived a block away in Long Branch, John had never heard you with a band or at a larger venue.
He was very impressed and has been telling everyone what a great performer you are.
We enjoyed every minute of your show at The Stone Pony last night! Thank you for all that you did to make it such a magical night. Peace, Joy and Rock and Roll, Maureen
Wow Bob, I haven't been to the Headliner and years ago I played in a Shore League in Hoops there. I have two seperate functions that day already. But, with Kevin...you never know. Hoping to see you this Friday evening. If not have a splendid and restful Thanksgiving. Maybe you'll see me Thanksgiving Eve at CJ Montana's if my prep work is ahead of schedule.
I hope John is up to coming to your show. It's great Hawk broadcasts from the Pony. You are super; it will be terrific! If we can't make it, I will listen.
