BOBBY MCKEE

God, Family, and Music is what I love. I am the proud son of a preacher man and learned to play in church. I began by playing drums, at age 12, in my family's small church in Kokomo, Indiana. My mom, and sister would sing and my brother and I would play drums and sing. I would listen to my mom play the 12 string acoustic at home and in church, and to this day that music is still the biggest musical influence in my life. I myself began playing guitar at the age of 16 and from there on out was all I wanted to do. I moved to nashville in 1998 and began to chase down my dreams and become the starving musician. Now, 10 years later, I am blessed enough to make a living doing what I love, playing guitar. I have recently started to work on my song writing and see where it will take me. I was also, in between all of that blessed to have my beautiful daughter Phoenix in 2001, and to marry the love of my life Erin in 2004. They and my family are my rocks. The Lord has truly blessed me. I LOVE IT!!! I also enjoy to aggrevate, instigate and laugh through it all. SAUSaGe!! Being stupid is fun!! Laid back is my motto and sleep is my favorite past time. Artists I have played for: Kevin Denney, Bobby Pinson, Jimmy Wayne, Tracy Byrd, Billy Currington, Jimmy Fortune, Craig Morgan and The Kinleys. I have also filled in with Aaron Tippon, Daryll Singletary, Rhett Atkins, and I'm currently on tour with John Berry.
