Bobby Caputo is one of the good guys! His music could probably best be described as a throwback to a time when lyrics really meant something and the feeling that a song expressed was everything. His music is romantic and heartfelt but it has excellent movement. It conveys deep emotion and shoots straight from the heart! It's not really rock and roll or blues or country and yet calling him a balladeer doesn't do justice to all the kick that you find in his songs.
I have a copy of Something to Cry About playing on my stereo as I write this: The songs convey the unmistakeable struggle of life in the real world. There is something in Bobby's music that people can identify with. His songs express an honesty and insight that hits you smack in the face. His voice & guitar playing perfectly compliment his songwriting. It's a voice that combines passion and despair, confusion and enthusiasm; it's a voice that has been around the world a couple of times. It is perfect for these songs!
Bobby has writen for many other artists including Julie Burton and finished 3rd nationally in the Billboard Magazine Songwriting competition.
