About me: I'm an old school retired boxer. Got to old for all that dancin' around! 5 foot 8 205 lbs. I'm More into the slower pace of Body building and Golfing now that im slowly turnin into an old man. hahaha!
Formerly the first tenor vocalist for Safe Harbor Quartet, several years ago the tenor for RiverBank Quartet and The Goodnewsmen.
I have been blessed to sing on Main Stage at the largest Southern gospel Convention in the world, The National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky. and to sing on the National Quartet convention showcase twice. I have appeared on the National TV show, Gospel Music Southern Style. We have been in the top 40 twice and the top 80 twice (I think! If my memory is correct)
8 years ago I set the world record on my second attempt, as the highest southern gospel tenor by "singing" (not screaming) (LOL) and sustaining a double octave "C" within a song. but, I retracted it soon after due to so many people speaking poorly of me for doing it. (GO FIGURE!)(Bless their little hearts!)
I have been blessed to share the stage with nearly every major group in Southern Gospel music, from The Chuck Wagon Gang to The Kingsmen, to The Gaither Vocal Band.
I am now a soloist signed with Nashville label "CedarHill Records". I write positive country and Gospel music. I have Been married to the most beautiful woman I have ever known for 14 years. We have one son Matthew who is 22! WOW I am gettin' old! haha!
My wife was nearly killed in a tragic automobile accident 4 years ago, and is going through cronic pain because of it. So I retired from singing 4 years ago to be at home and take care of the love of my life.
