Smith, born in Montreal 1978. of mixed backround(Bermudian/Canadian) To his family,friends and everyone who knew him he was a star from his youthful days, in love with music and in love with people. His strong spirit,powerfull connection to humanity and cultural consciousness,simply contributed to Bobby's great musical talent and made him a people's artist. In his school days,he started getting in touch with reggae music,dancehall and hip hop. Thru that he found his true language...music...manifesting as a voice for the people to hear. The whole concept of The Browns Family started in 90s ,and the Family became official in 2002. when Bobby Dreadd and MRK decided to seriously take their dream further. Since then there has been numerous performances,collaborations and additions to the Family (Cordova , Magnifico , Konvic ...and the Family grows ). Thru the idea,of hard work and constant inspiration, Bobby's unique talent as given The Family a slight Caribbean touch,Rastafari fire. Inspiration comes from expirience ,hence , having the street as a school of life. Something was bound to happen... Summer 2004. one night after leavin Cordova's studio , tragedy strikes as Bobby is shot in an attempted robbery leaving him paralized. Left without movement , but with his spirit an voice,he remains determined to spread his message...
