Born in Arkansas, raised in Florida, went to college at the University of Michigan,Bobby has a Masters in Psychology from the University of Michigan, During that period he met and played with numerous bands in Detroit. He recorded and toured worldwide with the band Frijid Pink. (House of the rising sun). He also toured the U.S. with Outer drive finally settling back in Fl where he and Eddie E. (Bassist extroardinaire) formed The Bobby G. Band. (including Gary Guzzardo former drummer for The Marshall Tucker Band) They recorded the CD You Play it Your Way Ill Play it Mine which sold out on their independent label. The band received numerous awards including Best Blues act 7 yrs running. Bobby was recognized as Best Guitarist during that span plus the prior 3 years as a solo act. His resume includes:
