These guys will be at schiller street playing a parade and bloack party with three bands from florida's INC. you wanna help with it, Damien? Thur Aug 6th!
This past week sucked real bad for me: I got laid off, had my wallet stolen, trying to break things off with a boyfriend who does not want to go, and was in the worst pain of my life with an abcessed tooth, and was facing eviction cuz I couldn't come up with rent. Hopefully, this week will be better. Some good things have happened already: I got my tooth fixed and a bunch of other dental work that really needed done got done, I got a call back on a job that I have had my eye on, my insane neighbor finally moved out, I came into a little money and was able to keep my apartment. It looks like the boyfriend may actually let me go and still keep things friendly, and I have got a new kitten, Mortimer the Infidel, who is the cutest thing EVER.... like if The Brain and Q.Pickle had a baby.... like a tiny version a Q. but with his tongue ALWAYS sticking out like The Brain's. And since I have gotten behind in my comments, please except my belated wishes that everyone had a Blessed Beltane!
My cat's are having a contest on their profile for the most twisted easter comment, you can enter either your own or one that someone send you, as long as it is disturbing, we will love it. Entries can be sent to me or to their profile. Winner will be announced tommorrow in a bulletin. First prize is an all expenses paid trip to hell in an easter basket!
Welcome Springtime, and hope you are having a Happy Ostara! I got just the blessing I had hoped for at this time of fresh starts: I start a new job tommorrow! Blessed be!
i hope the Britts passed on my info, just in case you didn't hear the message at the garden, but i'm having 25 chicks arriving here near to the 13th.....i had to order that many. i'd like to keep like half of that, and thought you Dunbar-ians might want the others. they're rhode island reds, black minorcas, and one other that i can't recall.
i had to order that many to get the rhode island reds (which are my all-time FAVES)
so, lemme know if you want some. i'm sure the neighbors won't start raising a stink until they're a bit bigger, so you have some time to decide, and who knows i might lose some to vermin and whatnot, but......HEADS-UP!
