And I should buy a vineyard in southern France, I think, where I can carry baguettes and apples through the countryside while drinking homemade wine. I want to die on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Soon I'll buy a bookstore, maybe on H Street NE (which shouldn't be nearly as scary in 5 or so years), where I can sell used books, and pastries and coffee made by my friends...

Wouldn't it be easier to name the books I hated? Bastard Out of Carolina (I know this is supposed to be a feminist must-have, but i hated every minute of reading it), most things by Jane Austen (in 100 years will school kids have to read Danielle Steele?), and my insurance policy.
