In Fond Memory Of Our Good Buddies. All of whom were excellent musicians and Entertainers Extraordinaire...♫
Bobby Snard: I'll be your huckleberry...
Below are photos and a short bio of the musicians/vocalists contributing to the recording of my EP "Home To Roost"........................
Teaford Webber:
Teaford Webber: AKA LG Big Tongue Snard. T-Ford has been a Snard since 1980, is still a friend, and helped make these songs come to life. He plays lead solo guitar on “No Way Out” & “Jesse”, and rhythm guitar on “Comeuppance. Also you hear T-Ford singing with me on “No Way Out” & “Jesse” as well.
Tom Scott...
Tom Scott: AKA Oil Can Freemason Snard.
Tom is a long time Snard Brother, and Friend. He is playing drums on "Discombobulation", and "Comeuppance". Oil Can (Tom), can sing; but
getting him to do it, is harder than pulling teeth.
Ross King...
Ross King: AKA Young Johnny Blue Eyes Snard, or just Johnny Snard.
I have known Johnny (Ross) most of his life. His older brother "Scott"
played bass with the Snard's a few years before Ross (Johnny) joined the Snard's as bass player. Ross (Johnny) is playing bass on "No Way Out",
"Starting Over", and "Jesse". Ross is a good friend....
Dana Silvercloud...
Dana Silvercloud: Dana is a man of many facets. He is fluent on
many musical instruments, a vocalist, and is astute on arranging.
Although Dana is not singing on any of the tunes from "Home To Roost",
he is playing bass on "Discombobulation" and "Comeuppance". Dana
has been an official Snard for about 4 years, and is a good friend.
Jason Neal...
Jason Neal: Probably doesn't even know just how talented he is.
However, I do know. Jason is a friend, and has been an official
Snard for about 4 years. Jason is currently the drummer for a
very popular group "Carbon Leaf". On "Home To Roost", Jason
is playing drums on "No Way Out", "Discombobulation", and "Jesse".
Rick Allard...
Rick Allard: I have come to admire and respect Rick as a musician and a person. I consider Rick a friend, and God willing, we will work together again.
Rick is playing all keyboards in all of my tunes.
Rick's musical background was seeded from his father, a career Navy officer, who played piano in the home and truly set in motion Rick's interest in music.
At present Rick is working with a kickin’ big horn band "Full Circle". This band is comprised of many local legend players…You can find "Full Circle" during the summer in Virginia Beach.
HERE IS RICK IN HIS OWN WORDS.........
I would like to thank Bobby Snard for getting me involved with his project. It has been a blast recording and creating music with Bobby and some of his former band mates from the Snard Brothers. I am also enjoying working and recording with other local artists through Soul Haven Studio.
Scott Watson...
Scott Watson: Around 1969, Scott began playing the harmonica,
and 'slide style' guitar. Over the years, Scott has played and
recorded with various groups and has shared billing with, in no
particular order; Jimmy Buffett, Bill Monroe, the Nothin' Doin band,
Seldome Scene, Ricky Skaggs, Leon Russell, Robbin Thompson,
Hand Picked, America, the Janitors, Get Big, Tammy Gardner.
For the last ten years or so Scott has worked with Tidewater,
Virginia Beach legend Lewis McGehee. In the studio with Bobby
Snard, Scott is playing Harmonica on "Discombobulation".
Scott? The cat can play!
Tim Roberts...
Studio Engineer, Arranger, Vocals, Congas, Tambourine & some other things
I have probably forgotten to mention!
"Home to Roost" recorded entirely at Soul Haven Project Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Guys in the Studio.......
