Grammy, CMA, and ACM nominee Bobby Tomberlin hails from Luverne, AL. At 11 years of age he began working in country radio and began to develop a love for its music and interviewed legends Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Keith Whitley and many others. After high school, Bobby moved to Muscle Shoals, Al where he worked in radio, started writing songs and was roommates with Shenendoah drummer Mike McGuire and hit songwriter, Billy Henderson. In 1990 Bobby moved to Nashville to focus on a career as a writer when Mel Tillis gave him his first publishing contract. Bobby also wrote for Reba McEntires company and spent four years as Grand Ole Opry Star Bill Andersons sound engineer. Bobby has had great success including the Top 10 single by Darryl Worley, "A Good Day To Run" as well as singles by Chely Wright, Diamond Rio, Ty Herndon,Linda Davis, Russ Taff and Lee Greenwood. Bobbys songs have received 8 BMI awards and he co-wrote the number 1 country and Top 5 AC single and CMA, ACM, and Grammy nominated One More Day and also co-authored the inspirational book by the same name. "One More Day" has recieved over 3 million radio performances according to BMI. Bobbys songs have been included on numerous Gold and Platinum projects including the recent double platinum Faith Hill CD "Fireflies", the gold CD "Everything is Fine by Josh Turner and the platinum CD by Rodney Atkins "If You're Going Through Hell". Bobby has just had a song recorded by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jerry Lee Lewis and T.G. Sheppard for T.G.'s new duet project.

Bobby Tomberlin works with such diverse writers as Mac Davis, Rivers Rutherford, Steve Dorff, Bill Anderson, Paul Overstreet, Andrew Dorff, Candi Carpenter, Brenda Lee, Hilary Williams, Steven Dale Jones, Phil Everly, Josh Turner, Lee Brice and Steve Wariner. Bobby is a regular guest on the Steve Dorff and Friends songwriter show with performances in Monterey, Salt Lake City, Miami, Santa Barbara, Muscle Shoals, San Diego, Nashville and Los Angeles. Bobby has performed numerous times at the Bluebird Cafe,at the Flordia State Fair in Tampa on a Grand Ole Opry package show, at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Awards in Mobile, the Alabama Broadcasters Association Convention in Perdido, was part of Grammys on the Hill in Washington D.C., the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree, performed in Billings, Atlanta and many other venues.
