BOBBY WASHINGTON’S CD TITLED “I BELIEVE IN LOVE”
Bobby Washington Carty hails from Manchester, the coldest parish in Jamaica, and is one
of the rising stars in Bermuda. Bobby is working on his first album where he crosses culture, lovers rock and gospel. Airing on all the radio stations in Bermuda and also in Jamaica, you can hear songs from this CD.
A man on a mission, “Gideon” as he has been dubbed, believes he has a message for everyone. His lyrics are conscious and have the tendency to stay deep in your heart. Internationally renowned Saxophonist, Dean Fraser, produced Bobby Washington’s latest songs,’ Never Stop Loving You’ and ‘Put It On Me’. It is interesting to note that Dean also produced man such as Luciana, Taurus Riley, Duane Stephenson and many other great artists. It is said by some that Bobby Washington sounds like Peter Tosh in some of his songs. For whatever it is worth, we can surely say that Bobby Washington has only just begun his musical career.
Giddeon writes most of his songs and creates most of his own tracks. When asked, Bobby says his most inspirational artists are: Beres Hammond, Frankie Paul, Tony Rebel, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Sanchez, Taurus Riley, the late greats: Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Garnett Silk.
Giddeon considers himself a ‘soldier’ in the Army of the Lord and thank the Almighty for the gift!
Bobby Washington’s album entitled ‘Pilgrim Journey’ should be ready for release by the end of the year and will also include a Christmas song entitled, “Welcome Home For Christmas’.
