About me: I am just a guy out in the desert amazed at the things out here where I live, the folks I call my friends, and this that we call the Internet. I am excited to share them with you! We had our annual golf tournament yesterday. I'm tired! And my co-worker (who is much younger than I) called in to say she will not be coming in today cause she doesn't feel well. She's hung over. :) Sheesh!
So here I am at work - tired, and fighting a cold - working by myself. Well, at least it's quiet right now. And it's a beautiful day outside. We have storefront windows, so i can enjoy the scenery.
Am now taking history of the U.S. from Reconstruction to the Present. I never thought I would enjoy a subject so much! We'll see how much I retain when the testing begins. :)

Learn a new skill. Find a new friend. Start a new career. Sometimes, there is no race to be won, only a price to be paid for some of life's more hasty decisions.
To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the homeless. To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the needy. To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy. Don't bring another life into this world for all the wrong reasons.
To make yourself happy, pursue your passions & be the best of what you can be. Simplify your life. Take away the clutter. Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends, nasty habits, and dangerous liaisons. Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't overdose on duty.
Don't live life recklessly without thought and feeling for your family. Be true to yourself. Don't commit when you are not ready. Don't keep others waiting needlessly.
Go on that trip. Don't postpone it. Say those words. Don't let the moment pass. Do what you have to, even at society's scorn.
Each moment in a day has its own value. Morning brings HOPE, afternoon brings FAITH, Evening brings LOVE, Night brings REST, Hope you will have all of them everyday, like birds, let us, leave behind what we don't need to carry... GRUDGES SADNESS PAIN FEAR and REGRETS. Life is beautiful,Enjoy it.
