Bill Kavanagh.
It may seem like it should be Bob, but I assure you the name's Bill.

And since I get a lot of inquiries, the fretless acoustic archtop (and back) bass guitar pictured was built in Chicago by Kim Schwartz in 1988, as was the red electric solid body bass seen in studio website pics. It also boasts a Rick Turner bridge-mounted piezo pickup, floating ebony thumbrest by Hugh McFarland, and Thomastik-Infeld Acousticore nylon-core strings.

Generic Friend Requests:
Sorry, I don’t accept friend requests unless there is some indication the requester has actually been to this page or maybe even listened to the music here. You needn’t take this personally -- I’m not offended by mass requesters, but feel my studio page should be more about the music than running up the number of “friends” BobDog Studios has. If you’d like to add some human contact to your request, I’d be happy to befriend you.

Hi Bill, wonderful the stuff on your site. I'm in love with that semi-acoustic 5 string bass of yours! Love it's sound too. Favs on the site are 'Tweaker's' song "Shadows" and "Chimpanzee song" shame he forgot the lyrics but it happens to us all (me more than most!) I'm very impressed by the voice of Samantha Cathcart (I presume she is the lead singer of the band) very nice and of course the bass player was exceptional too! I play bass as well as guitar and I used to have a fretless but I sold it, still love that fretless sound though. All the very best my friend. Keep up the great work and do please keep in touch. Trev (of 'Few Broth')
