MySpace a place for friends

Welcome to my MySpace page.

While most probably know me from my appearance in the film "The Secret", or through the "Wealth Beyond Reason" program, the purpose of this page is to share more creative aspects of what I'm up to - namely music and photography.

When I first graduated college and started getting serious about music, I used to write all the time with aspirations to compose for film. As my children grew a little older, and my time was more in demand, music kind of faded into the background, and for over a decade the only music I wrote was for "background" music for projects where music wasn't really the main focus.

Recently (as of 2008), the call to writing has returned quite loudly, and I've actually spent the past couple of years bringing my studio equipment up to date, just waiting for the time where I would actually prioritize music again - and that time seems to have come.

I'm easing back into it. Rather than taking on huge projects, I'm writing short piece to refamiliarize myself with the process, and to learn how to use all these new toys! There's a lot I have to learn, particularly in the area of "production" (EQ, etc. - something I never really worried about too much back in the old days, and many professional musicians who've heard my music, have well - reminded me that there is room for improvement.)

Since MySpace only lets us post 6 tunes, I've added a "Soundclick" widget to this page underneath the MySpace music player where you can hear just about everything I have posted online. Everything above "Lauren Takes A Walk" on this list above is new from 2008. Most everything else is 10-15 years old.

So far everything I post is created with keyboards, though I've also picked up my guitar again after MANY years, and am basically having to learn all over again, but I hope to incorporate that into my work soon.

Professionally, I'm probably best known as the facilitator of the Wealth Beyond Reason program, and was recently featured as a teacher in the movie "The Secret", and even more recently in the film "The Opus"

Is the Law of Attraction in danger of being viewed as a "fad"?

Below, you can hear my response to some of the more common questions and objections that I hear related to the Law of Attaction and the movie "The Secret"

This is a video I will probably point more people to than any other resource I have. It answers the question "Why do bad things happen to good people?".

When people have tragedy in their lives, or are suffering in some other way, they really resent being told that they "attracted it."

This video should clarify what that really means.

I also get a lot of questions about how the Law of Attraction jives with science and religion. There really is NOT the conflict that so many people think:

Much of the work we do in the Wealth Beyond Reason program deals with handling "resistance". These are the negative beliefs and emotions that work as an energetic force field, literally keeping our desires at bay.

Our favorite tool for dealing with this is EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques. Below is a video that will introduce you to what the process is about.
