I tried to buy a concert class didji, that is, a didji that not only played beautifully but had an instrument quality finish, etc etc etc
In my search in Darwin and the East Coast of Australia. I found no didji that had the whole package, that is ... top quality sound, high quality finish and complete seal inside and outside, with the attention to detail that you would expect, when you purchase a top of the line musical instrument.
I figured that there must be other players in the world, other than myself, who wanted this type of instrument and were prepared to pay the little extra to have the best.
In my travels I have seen a lot of good ideas for didjis, so I have incorporated some of them, plus my own and a few extra along the way.
These instruments are primerally crafted for musicians who demand the very best.
But since 1998, Bob Druett has been able to offer just such instruments for sale to the public.
