Bob is the Mayor of the City of Dunedin, Florida, a coastal community on the west coast in the Tampa Bay region. Dunedin has a well earned reputation as one of the best governed cities in Florida and was recently named the "Most Walkable Community" in the nation in the small city category.
He also serves as the elected Chairman of the Pinellas Planning Council (PPC) which provides a forum for representatives of Pinellas County's 24 cities and towns, the unincorporated county, and the Pinellas County School Board to address countywide land use issues.
He is a partner in a successful educational publishing firm, is married to his wife of 27 years, Gwynne, and has a ten-year-old daughter Maddie and a seven-year-old son Bobby. Bob is a graduate of the University of Florida where he met Gwynne, was inducted into Florida Blue Key, and was a varsity athlete on the Cross Country and Track teams.
