Bob Hartry

Bobby Hartry is a guitar player, producer, and songwriter...with a fascination for little toy keyboards and anything that makes an interesting sound...tone...frequency...noise...

Bobby started out as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, branching into songwriting and production at his Catbeach Studios over the past decade. His fascination with guitar tones, little toy keyboards and various noise making gizmo's mark his style and influence in the studio.

Bobby produces albums for indie artists as well as label projects. He is part of a number of production teams with artists including Jayson Belt, Aaron Sterling and Ben West. He also writes and produces music for television and film. His song 'Where You Are', co-written with Rie Sinclair, was nominated for an Emmy in 2006.

AMERICAN IDOL
Bobby has had multiple placements on American Idol, most notably in Spring 2011, "Anthems & Cheers" co-written and performed by Ben West.

Bobby also produced 'We Will Shine, co-written and performed by Jayson Belt, for American Idol's 'Idol Gives Back' in 2010. 'We Will Shine' can be purchased on iTunes.
