Like many I was re-introduced to Bob Lind through Cool Summer included on Jarvis Cocker's The Trip compilation. Still rate Elusive Butterfly though. Beautiful song. Great to discover this site. Excellent idea. J.x
I don't know what is the most impressive and inspirational, Bob Lind's Music or the man behind the music. Either way, I send my deepest respect and gratitude to the man who started me writing music!
Bob, I can't get your song "Elusive Butterfly". to play on my page. Is there a reason why. I wanted to put it on in memory of my son, Anthony, who passed away 2 years ago. Let me know.
Thanks for the add Bob, I picked up the Elusive LP at a record Fair about 3 years ago but man are is it hard to find the other records... Surely they must be due for a re-release. I'd buy them all.... Twice... so if there's any record company execs involved with re-issues...
My very first CD was "You Might Have Heard my Footsteps", it was 1993, I still listen to the CD all the time. My favorite songs are "Remember the Rain" and "We've Never Spoken". Thanks for the gorgeous songs!!!!! Crossing my fingers to get to see Bob live, one of these days.
As a little girl I thought no song could be more beautiful than Elusive Butterfly - but it was that perfect voice that sang it that really sold me. For 40 years I've been your cheerleader and will continue to do so for another 40 years. There is no one else like you. God bless you for sharing your gifts with us so unselfishly.
