BOB LIVINGSTON has never been a traditional Texas country musician living the honky-tonk life even though he's spent more than his share of time on the roadhouse circuit with the likes of the Lost Gonzo Band, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Michael Murphey, and a slew of other singer-songwriters in Texas. Right now, Livingston is out on the road playing folk clubs and house concerts supporting his new compilation CD called "Original Spirit." It includes songs from Livingston's 2004 album, "Mahatma Gandhi & Sitting Bull" and some material from the Lost Gonzo Band years. Livingston tours in countries like India, Pakistan, Africa, Viet Nam and the Middle East looking for high musical adventure at every turn. A new CD is in the works and Livingston also heads an eclectic group in Austin called Cowboys & Indians that play country and eastern music. Thanks so much for such a GREAT performance at our show last night! You really whipped our crowd into a frenzy and added momentum for future shows in our series! Hope to catch you on down the line....soon!!
Hey Bob, have fun out on the west coast, where the Beat is still young. All my contacts out there have grown cold, but you seem to be hitting it in stride. --Mv
Hi Bob, I just wanted to wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving. Have a safe and fun holiday weekend. Take care and Peace! David...I just added a photo of you and I from Gruene Hall in my pics section.
This ain't spam. It's a turkey leg, and it's loaded! Or maybe I'm loaded. Anyway, don't make me use this thing. Just have a Happy Thanksgiving, and nobody will get hurt...not until about half way thru the third slab of pie. Love ya, and have a goodun'.
