How do I explain "The Honky Tonk Road Show"? Well, It's not easy but I'll give it a try... The Music: A cross between good old Texas Boogie Woogie and The Bakersfield Sound made famous by Buck Owens, Don Rich, Wynn Stewart & Merle Haggard. This year we also added an amazing "Girl Singer" by the name of Taryn Cross... So there is a splash of June Carter, Heather Myles, Amber Digby and of course Patsy Cline. Believe me this girl can sing like an angel (Honky Tonk Angel of Course)!! The Show: We like to refer to ourselves as a "Full blown Honky Tonk Stage Show" and that is exactly what ya get when you come to our show... we don't just play great music, we also entertain as best we know how! ON TAP FOR 2008:
2008 is lookin' to be a Monster Year for "The Honky Tonk Road Show"! We are planning to spend the majority of this Spring & Summer burnin' up the Honky Tonk Trail from Canada to Central California... It seems the West Coast Casinos and Music Festivals have taken notice, which is a good thing for Honky Tonk! We're just tryin' to keep it alive and reach as many folks as possible.
We'd like to thank our many sponsors for their amazing support and vision. HangMhigh Western Wear has been incredible for the past 3 years and we love 'em... Damn! We look good because of HangMhigh! Colin Park, our photographer, Marketing and Graphics man has certainly been instrumental in our steady growth and success... Like he says, "Package for Success" and he knows how to package.
