About me: Delegate Bob Marshall married Cathy Fonseca in 1976. They have five children, Teresa, Chris (deceased), Mary, Joey and Tommy, (two at home) and attend All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas. They moved from Fairfax County in 1980 and have lived in Prince William County ever since. Bob has received numerous civic and service awards over the years, and also served on the Prince William County advisory committee which proposed building the Prince William Parkway.
Bob was first elected in 1991 to the Virginia House of Delegates. He is Vice-Chairman of the Counties, Cities and Towns Committee, and Chairman of a Privileges and Elections Sub Committee, as well as the Assembly’s Joint Stem Cell Study Committee.
Bob has a BA in History and Philosophy from Belmont Abbey College, North Carolina, and an MA in Humanities from California State University. He has a personal library of 2000+ books, is an avid reader of history, philosophy, constitutional issues, and medical, social and political issues of importance. His hobbies (when he has time) include exercising, gardening and photography.
This video is very telling in terms of the financial condition our country is in. This video is a wake up call to all citizens to get active and demand the government stop spending all of our money in an imprudent manner. But it is not the end and we will overcome this challenge if we meet it head on which is what I intend to do if you give me the privilege to serve as your next U.S. Senator.
Who I'd like to meet: Any citizen in the state. I want to hear your concerns and bring them to Washington and deal with them swiftly and soundly.
On that note, I just wanted to say a few words about the economic crisis and we need to deal with it directly by cutting government spending and not taxing. This economic crisis will affect everybody, every citizen in the U.S. which is why this issue hits home to every household in Virginia. That is why we need to bring the message of life, liberty and property back to Washington as our Founders intended. I hope you will join me.
