Hi there. My name is Robert, Bob, Bobby McGuire. I have many names. For the purposes of myspace, I would consider myself to be a singer/songwriter and a poet. I've been singing as long as I can remember. I first picked up the guitar when i was fifteen and haven't looked back since. I wrote my first song when I was seventeen. To date, I've written well over fifty songs and hundreds of poems. The themes vary.....Polotics, life, philosophy, religion and of course....LOVE. I don't play many gigs and I haven't recorded in a long time but thats something I hope to change very soon. The songs on the site are from two demos I recorded. Be With You and I am what I am were recorded in my kitchen over two days. Considering the time period and lack of equipment, i am very proud of them, especially Be With You. They were recorded with the help of two of my friends. (See old Tom Frost on my friends list) and bassist Emmet Toft. The other two songs were each recorded in one take by my friend and comrade Ger Breen. Thanks for taking the time.
