playing with Brendan, reading good books, movies, vacations (havent been on one in a long time but i've been and want to go back!), eating good food, (steak, lobster and sushi come to mind), listening to a wide genre of music and going to concerts, happy hours with friends, walks in the woods smelling the fresh air and watching the clouds float by overhead, long car rides on nice days (someday i'll own a bike....the harley kind)....camping and 4-wheelin in our (MY) toyota FJ!!!!

About me: I figured it was time to update the ABOUT ME section. I find myself doing this yearly....should be more often...but not too much ever changes. :)
YES.....we are STILL in san diego but still planning a move back east to NY as soon as the economy lends itself to such a venture. With jobs and insurance...we are lucky and just cant give it all up right now for a move 3,000 miles into the unknown with no jobs and/or no insurance. We'll wait a few months (or maybe the beginning of the summer) to see how the economy is turning around (hopefully it will be turning around my then) and possibly put the house back up on the market and get out of dodge. We really cant wait to move to a simpler, quieter life surrounded by family and old friends. SOMEDAY.
I'm still working as a vet tech in the animal hospital but cut my hours a bit so i could be home to do projects around the house. Its good for me. I have my free time and still love my job!! When it becomes WORK its not fun anymore.......i actually love going into work so life is good!!
Rambo the dog is 15 or maybe 16 years old and still chugging along. A little arthritic but if i was 108 years old i would be too.
George the dog is 2. Hes the one we rescued from the pound last year.....so we've had him almost exactly 1 year now. Hes a gem and we love him. Hes fit in so well to our love shack.
Spike the bearded dragon is....well...hes happy sitting on a log all day..eating crickets and pooping. Brendan loves him (so do i actually)....hes a cool pet. extremely low maintenance which works great for me.
Phil is still working for the police department and is, at least for now, working over in Detectives. He has more work then he knows what to do with. He still has a difficult time getting around on his leg/ankle/foot after his car accident. (its been 2 years since his accident already) Hes doing much better though and is actually starting to go out hunting again, hiking the mountains looking for his prey, managing Brendans wrestling team, etc. In his not so spare time he finds projects around the house to do........big projects........like gutting bathrooms and doing home remodeling projects.
Brendan is almost 9 and is in 3rd grade. Hes doing great....scoring high on all his standards and tests. Hes full of life and so much like a sponge. Wants to know everything, learn about everything......hes really growing up fast. I signed him up for ice hockey, bought all the gear, then he decided he cant skate in the "hockey skates" so now i have to get him some private lessons so he can learn to skate. He loved skating (on figure skates) until he got on the hockey skates. Hopefully we can get him back into it.....especially since i have a truckload of gear now that fits him perfectly.
Wrestling just started too.......and he LOVES TO WRESTLE. Last year he did really great so hes ready to kick some butt this year.
I'm still doing my offroading as much as i can. I have made alot of friends doing this sport or activity....whatever you want to call it. I'm always looking for the next adventure or difficult road or terrain to conquer. I've been to Sedona twice and have met up with a bunch of the sedona offroaders that i've met off the forum i belong to....driving around those redrocks is amazing. Its beautiful country. I asked santa for a Roof Rack for christmas. hee hee hee I need to have a place to put all my gear, hi lift jack, gas cans, etc. Theres always something to add to my cutest FJ in the world!! Did i tell you lately that i LOVE MY TRUCK? :)

Who I'd like to meet: Some of the white collar executives that have put our country in the shape its in now......that are still accepting their million dollar bonuses and severance pays...the assholes that dont care about the everyday folks that are losing their jobs, losing their homes and cant feed their families.
yup...i'd like to meet a few of those assholes. 'cause they suck!

Oh girl it was fierce! I wish you could have seen it.....flawless! i am off to compete for the state title, and if I win that or get 1st alternate I go to nationals!
I'm hoping to head out to Sedona, and things are looking promising. If I do go out, I'll be doing the Thursday / Monday travel days, though I'll have to leave after my sons get out of school. I'll be sure and keep you posted.
