Here's a brief biography written by a friend...
Raised in New Jersey until he was 14, his family moved to the Philadelphia area where he first picked up the guitar. Soon he was playing out cover music by favorite influences Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Neil Young and later, Bruce Springsteen and John Hiatt, and John Cougar Mellencamp. Bob eventually started writing his own music for his band, Johnny Law, in which he was the lead singer and guitarist. Johnny Law played over 150 dates a year in clubs throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York.
Shortly thereafter, Bob was inspired by musicians and friends to move to Nashville to continue working on his songwriting craft. And he has done just that. In 2002, he released a pop/rock/Americana CD, "Out of the Gray" combining lyrics influenced by Nashville craft with his rock roots from the Northeast.
Since then, he has focused more solely on singer-songwriter tunes with folk and country influences (like a couple of songs featured on this page) and continues to write songs that touch the heart. He can be found at the Bluebird Cafe, The Grape or other venues around Nashville.
Note: Wrecking Ball - the acoustic version is posted here. Out of the Gray includes a fully produced album version.
