About me:
BM Film Products are the movies of Bob Moricz, a reclusive, obsessive-compulsive, ambidextrous Hungarian solopsist born in Redwood City, California. He began making movies at the age of ten, terrorizing his father, the cameraman, with a kitchen knife in an effort to intensify the cinematography.
Ten years later, upon landing a job working as a production assistant for an independent film production company based in San Francisco, he discerned wasteful filmmaking methods. After reading George and Mike Kuchar's book REFLECTIONS FROM A CINEMATIC CESSPOOL, Moricz quit.
The Kuchars' influence inspired Moricz to embrace the low-rent access to phantasmagoric moving image revelations afforded by video and Super 8mm film.
Mr. Moricz's shot in one day hellanovela PALACE OF STAINS was boldly branded "the worst movie I've ever seen" by the Portland Mercury.
