Hello Bob! It's great to hear your voice again. I have been in Cincinnati for a while, still cranking out old-time music. Someday I'll get back out to see all my Tidewater friends. - John Bealle
Thanks for your friendship! Please send us any music or other entertainment that you would like to see featured on the RED BANANA, and keep checking back to our webzine for updates!!!

FINALLY (whew) got your appearances in Annapolis and Ship's Company activity entered into Google calendar and -- wonder of wonders !! -- there's a shanty-sing at Galway Bay on July 16 from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm the very same night as your performance at the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
Am I correct in assuming your performance runs from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm? Here's hoping you're up for dropping by Galway Bay afterwards.
From one of your afternoon audience members at the Medieval Festival in Chesapeake, VA... thanks for playing for us. Really glad you took the time to talk to us about the music and instruments. I'll think about that hurdy gurdy you have for sale!
Hi Bob, I'm afraid the weather kept us pretty well socked in up in Newburyport last night, so Mary and I send our best from afar, for this trip anyway. Much to our disappointment. We'll try to control the weather better next time. Isn't that what Twain said: Everybody complains about the weather but nobody ever does anything about it.
Hi Bob, We just did "Some Trust in Chariots" at GAfilk and some people asked for lyrics copies. We gave out said copies with your website written on them. Maybe it'll get you some new fans to add to the crowd! I took the same Yamaha guitar with me that you sold me back in 1983-4. It's still my favorite!
