About Black Out City

Black Out City is one of the most talented rap groups to come out of the south in years. With music that incorporates slick word play and infectious melodies they are sure to make a huge impact on the music industry. This hard core trio hails from the south side of Atlanta GA, Eastpoint to be exact. They grew up in one of the roughest parts of Atlanta which means they've done and seen a lot in their life time, which of course influences their music. "Eastpoint made us who we are" they say with pride when asked about where they come from. But while most Hip Hop artist struggle to maintain their street edge while attempting to make music for the main stream Black Out City excels in this area. After taking a break from music the group got back together and released various mixtapes within the last two years most notably the "Respect My Grind" series which garnered a lot of attention in the streets of Atlanta. The group consists of three lyricists with distinct styles that blend together perfectly. Awol, Mr. Chris, Young Manny complete the high powered group known as Black Out City. Teaming up with Atlanta based independent record label Boss House Entertainment expect big things from this trio as they just released the music video for their single "Big Stacks Rubberbands".
