Also known as "Henry Gale", is 41 years old (born on December 22nd 1963). He said he was born on the island, which was a lie he was born in Portland in America. He is the leader of the "Others" and follows orders from "Jacob". He has a young daughter named Alex.

Is 48 years old, was born May 30th 1956. Was orginally from Tustin, California. Before the crash he used to work for: department store assistant manager - Welcome Home Professional Home Inspections - Regional collection supervisor for a box company. Fours years before the crash, he was pushed out a building from his father and was left paralyzied. But since the crash John has been able to walk again. He has faith in the island and Ben thinks he's "Special"
