the ocean, cold landscapes, vinyl crackle, found sounds, david lynch films, whatever my imagination conjures up when reading a favourite science fiction novel...... musically would be... jean michel jarre, kraftwerk, vangelis, LFO, autechre, early aphex, isan, boc, to rococo rot, john foxx, bill nelson, ozric tentacles, monolake, cliff martinez, prince, ryuichi sakamoto, bola, FSOL, bjork, vince watson, ellen allien, loads of others besides.....
grew up listening to the likes of peter gabriel, john foxx, kraftwerk and jean michel jarre. mostly at my mate barry's house because my parents weren't into that stuff at all... eventually discovered the revelation that was the john peel show which introduced me to a whole new world of underground musicians and ultimately the inspiration to start composing and recording myself...
boc scadet has been in existence since around 2002 and since that time i have released 2 ep's, 2 full length albums and a mini album. i have also made appearances on various compilations of which info can be found at discogs (some kind person has been listing my releases there for a while now - thankyou!!)
Hello, It's always a pleasure to contact my friends, first thanks for your friendship and hope all is well. if you have time, there are some new videos on my page. Life is beautiful. All the best - Pat.
Hey 'Boc'! How r u doin' lately? Thanx for your words about my snippets on Adepth Audio's MySpace. I don't own the label, but it wouldn't surprise me much if Adepth Audio might be interested in your atmospheric tunes Thumbs up!
I really appreciate for taking the time to listen to my stuff Thanks for the comments too... Really like your music. Dreamy, abstract and full of emotions. Keep on making those soundcapes... Best regards!
garrr! regret leaving college. almost 100% not. saw lewis parker tonight at the farmhouse. essential canterbury legend, turned wu tang. dude thinks he's from new york now but still claims to be the westgate jedi. needs to make his mind up. glad you're enjoying my party beats. there's no musical boundries being broken but its a hell of a lot of fun to write. when you coming round for tea then babe? xxxxx
