Bodhicitta approaches the ancient art of Belly Dance with a modern perspective. Nominated Nashville's "Best Interpretive Artist" Bodhicitta has quickly gained the respect of local artists and continues to impress and excite audiences at home and abroad with a show that onlookers find 'delightfully' unexpected... a 'refreshing surprise'.
A professional performing troupe since January 2007, Bodhicitta has instructed and performed internationally, most notably at Spirit of the Tribes (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and Bergenfest (Bergen, Norway). Together with her troupe mates, founder Gwyn offers the world of Belly Dance a unique style rooted in 'Tribal' philosophies of this art form with a diverse point of view as each member brings forth her own history and passion for dance.

This name was universal to every Algonquin tribe. However, in Europe they called it the Rose Moon. Also because the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries comes each year during the month of June . . . so the full Moon that occurs during that month was christened for the strawberry!

2nights show was amazing!!! I've seen you ladies preform 6 times now...2nights was my favorite. Maybe because there seemed to be more acts of all 4 of you on stage together at the same time which looked hella cool! Or maybe that most people were and the craw fish boil which made for a very cool atmosphere tonight. Whatever it was I enjoyed it greatly and thank you for diligently doing what you do and please don't ever stop.
