hi Brian, how are you keeping? Haven't seen you since the Big Bang! Incase you are interested my group Canta Brasil based here in Dublin are starting a regular samba and pagode night at the Bernard Shaw pub, 12 Sth Richmond St opposite Portobello college. We play laid back Rio style samba mainly with lots of singing and some melodic instruments like the cavaquinho and mandolin. We'll also be playing a few "forro" tunes from the North East of Brazil which includes accordion and triangle as well as all the percussive intruments. Its the Brazilian equivalent of an Irish trad session really.
It will be every Monday starting this Monday the 1st Oct from 8-11PM. Would be great to see you down there! Slán go Fóill, malvina
