Well, I finally got my copy of 'Electric City' last Friday via Amazon. de and I have to say I love it. Congratulations on a great record. Despite receiving four new German albums and the new single by my beloved Bap, I played 'Electric City' all day long.
The music sounds familiar and yet new, innovative and exciting. The quality of sound is excellent and the samples on the myspace player don't really prepare you for how good the album is. I love the arrangements of the tracks, some of which are longer than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. I don't really have any favourite tracks, it's all good, but I get a lovely warm feeling when 'Alte Schule' plays out the album. It's a tune that reaches out through the years and pulls you into the present. I hope there is more music to come from you and maybe a gig or two. I never got to see you the first time round.
thanxxxx 4 the add,Bodo. we were based in Duesseldorf from 1984 thru 1987 with a1a musicgroup thru Ralf Krueger musik. Ralf Krueger is still on Leoplodstr...in Duesseldorf,maybe u kno him??? we moved back 2 the states in 1987.i remember buying your 4 song mini-lp in english (triad deminsions/a moments glance/river/fan fan fanatic)way back in 1983 at a record store in Florida...please stop by & let us kno wat u think of the musik...be blessed brother
Traurig, dass uns ein Musiker der ersten (Düsseldorfer) Stunde verlassen hat! Klaus Dinger (Kraftwerk, NEU!, La Düsseldorf) verstarb am 21. März 2008. Wie wäre es mit einem Rheingold-Album nur mit Dinger-Kompositionen? "Geld" habt ihr ja schon sehr innovativ auf "Electric City" ge-covert! :-) Liebe Grüße, Andreas

Gratulation zur Realisation des neuen Albums "DÜSSELDORFER SCHULE"! Habe es gestern downgeloaded, und seitdem läuft es permanent in meinem Player. Es freut mich riesig, daß es nach DIS-TANZ im Jahre 1984 eine brandneue Produktion gibt. Ich sammle Eure Musik seit 1982 und habe die drei Alben aus der ersten Phase. Eure neuen Stücke sind unglaublich energetische und eigenständige Coverversionen! Für mich jetzt schon DAS Album 2008! Liebe Grüße//Siegmar
