Rocklahoma, one of the largest rock music festivals in the United States, has announced that Bodragaz will be one of over ninety bands to play at the four-day event. Located at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds outside of Pryor, Oklahoma, Rocklahoma has become the premier event of it's kind, being referred to by many throughout the world as the "Woodstock of Eighties Rock Music". This year's festival features headliners Twisted Sister, Great White, Warrant, Skid Row, Nelson, Night Ranger, Stryper, Thin Lizzy, Anthrax, and more.

With 6,200 assigned seats and general admission for over 50,000 people, the event plays host to a world audience in attendance. Rocklahoma has sold tickets to this year's event in all fifty states, as well as throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and South America. In addition to it's center stage showcase acts, the festival's side stages feature a mix of former rock radio mainstays, such as LA Guns, Bang Tango and Lillian Axe, and select international, national, and regional acts of today, in what Retrospect Records CEO Sam McCaslin calls "...the strongest side stage line-up ever assembled at a rock festival."

Bodragaz is thrilled to be a part of that line-up.

The 3rd Annual Rocklahoma Festival, presented by VH1 Classic, runs July 9th-12th 2009, and the band is scheduled to play on Saturday, July 11th.

Poised to lead the vanguard in the resurgence of melodic hard rock, BODRAGAZ has a signature sound that is all their own. Tasteful and groove-oriented, the band steps boldly up to the plate in May 2008 with the release of Awaken. Featuring exceptional musicianship and soaring vocal harmonies, Awaken delivers a timeless sound that is unquestionably exciting, completely different, and absolutely unforgettable.

In June 2008, two weeks after it was available on cd, Awaken was released to all major providers for digital distibution in downloadable mp3 format. The week of June 9th, digital music giant Rhapsody.com selected Awaken as one of the Top 32 Most Significant New Releases in Metal. Continuing on this success at Rhapsody, BODRAGAZ spent over eight continuous weeks on their charts, listed as one of the Top 100 Artists in Progressive Metal, peaking thus far at 55 on July 13th 2008 and still making appearances on the Rhapsody charts.

In September 2008, Australian radio station 94.1 FM Full Throttle Rock Radio selected BODRAGAZ as "Artist of the Week", and has been featuring the songs Touch, Forever, and Awaken on their program. The band has enjoyed internet airplay this summer on Progulus.com and on The Dividing Line's ProgRoots podcast as well.

BODRAGAZ is a consistent top seller at their distributor CD BABY. The group has shared the stage with international phenomenon Bon Jovi as direct support for the band on the Denver stop of their 2006 Have A Nice Day tour, as well as having played gigs with Y&T, Spock's Beard, Enuff Z'Nuff, KT Tunstall, and American Idol sensation Bo Bice.
