BODY was formed in 2003 with the founding vision to create music that integrated funk, rock, reggae, and world-beats in a way that reaches your soul. BODY's founding members set out to do something different and even today many of the band's songs are created live "on the fly" at gigs. BODY fans are catching fire with the band's groove and spreading the message. BODY's much anticipated debut CD release, "Lizard People" is due out in Fall 2009. The first single "BUSH WORLD" with b-side "The Contender" is now publicly available and more singles are on the way in 2009. BODY recently lit up an opening set for Leo Nocentelli (The METERS) at The MINT in LA and practically burned the roof off of The Boom Boom Room in SF they were so hot in May 2009! BODY is currently booking live appearances for the Bushworld 2009 Single CD Tour at festivals, concert venues, and other festive occasions.
