About me:

Hello My Name is Aaron Smith…Welcome to my Page

I am a Personal Trainer and CEO of Body Blueprint. The reason why I started my Myspace page Profile is because:

  • 800 million people in this world don’t have enough to eat, but 1 billion are overweight ....
  • 80% of Americans over 25 are overweight ....
  • 58 million people are overweight; 40 million obese; 3 million morbidly obese ....
  • 89% of people who lost over 30lbs and kept it off for over a year did so through a combination of exercise AND diet ....
  • weight loss programs are 100% more successful when utilized with a coach ....

YOU DON’T WANT TO BE A STATISTIC…TRUST ME!

In the beginning of January millions of people begin the annual ritual of New Year’s Resolutions. Health club memberships and diet programs soar in the following weeks. Statistics show that less than 15% of these resolutions will last 1 year. By February, 36% have completely abandoned their goals, with another 30% already feeling like they’re failing. Most people don’t make a permanent change in lifestyle because they don’t have specific goals, no clear game plan, no guidance, no consistency, and no accountability.

By creating this Myspace profile I hope to meet, network, educate, and enlighten, anyone interested in achieving and maintaining great habits in health, fitness, and nutrition…Hopefully my story, background, and expertise can help you discover or re-discover a BETTER YOU mentally and of course physically for 2009.

WHO AM I?....

I grew up in Los Angeles, California.  Most of my life
I have always been a competitor.  I played sports and
have had success in basketball, football, and track
all through out school.  I had good grades as well so
I got a scholarship to Villanova University and played
football and ran track all four years that I attended
there.  I got my degree in business Administration
(MIS major) after attending four years.  The Journey
to get my degree was not easy, but due to my Faith in
God (I grew up in the church) and having influential
people as role models such as my dad (Pastor Ed
Smith), I was able to achieve that milestone

Life after College

After college I decided to pursue my dream of playing
pro football.  I still needed to make money so I also
decided to get a job at a Credit Union working in the
Information Systems Department.  I did not like the
whole 9 to 5 thing especially since it was hard to
have time to train for football.  I eventually decided
to work at a local gym as a personal trainer, because
I wanted a flexible schedule to train clients and
train for football as well.  The whole football thing
was not working out for me, but I enjoyed being a
personal trainer due to my passion for training
others...I liked seeing how my clients saw results.
Therefore, I decided to start my own personal training
business

How My Journey as a Client Molded me to the Trainer I am Today

Though I am a personal trainer, I have been a client in countless situations. Even to this day I am occasionally mentored and trained by different trainers and coaches who have greatly impacted my life. Every since Elementary school I have been trained and mentored by coaches who have encouraged me to constantly take care of my body and improve my skills in football, basketball, and track. Without them I don’t believe I would have the mind set or success I have today. Now there were some tough times trying to achieve my fitness goals and maintaining them. It requires a lot of discipline and mentorship. Without my coaches holding me accountable I don’t believe I would be able to achieve success on my own willpower. Through their leadership skills, they empowered me with the skills, knowledge, drive, and passion to help others as they helped me.

I am a firm believer in “Practicing what you Preach”. I would not put my client through anything I have NOT experienced or am NOT implementing in my own life. I am thankful for all of my coaches, trainers, and mentors; I am honored to be given the privilege to share with my clients what my trainers and coaches have passed down to me.

As a leader and trainer, I am NOT doing my job if I am not duplicating myself and empowering others in some way, shape, or form. I approach the body like a blueprint to tailor your specific needs, whether you desire to lose weight, tone, build muscle, increase energy levels, better your diet, rehabilitate from injury, prepare for a new job (i.e. police Dept., Fire Dept., etc.), or train for a specific sport.

Workin’ that 9 to 5? Or Maybe even an Entrepreneur?....

With previous experience in working a 9 to 5 job and currently being an entrepreneur, I know that it can be difficult to fit a good workout in your schedule. However, you do need to workout in order to have the energy to meet the demands of your hectic lifestyle. I know that time is of the essence and I have created a workout plan just for YOU!

I have proven results as a championship college football player and track runner.  To this day I run a 4.3 40 yard dash and I have a 39' vertical leap.  I can help you increase your speed, leap higher & further, improve quickness, increase flexibility, increase strength, increase endurance, and improve your reaction time.

With the newest technology in digital video email and web casting you can have your personalized workout anytime and anywhere. 

Customize for you-  Individualized workouts are based on goals, schedule and available equipment.

Guidance- I will also assist you on proper nutrition and supplementation.

Fear of the Gym- Don't like the gym? I can give you guidance in the privacy of your own home.

While online training is not face-to-face, it is highly personalized.  I use the advantages of questionnaires, technology and other web applications to enable and facilitate close, direct communication between you and me.
