From Albany, Georgia, Travis quickly made his musical ability known early. At just age four, while sitting at the piano with one of his sisters, young Travis began playing a McDonald’s commercial jingle with one finger. His sister watched in amazement, and from there, Travis began taking piano lessons. Travis played in his first piano recital at age five. He continued playing piano, and in the fifth grade, he graded exceptionally high on a music test which granted him a spot in a gifted band program. From there, Travis learned how to play trumpet…very well I may add. In the seventh grade, Travis had the opportunity to come across a music instructor who was very gifted and began to teach Travis how to play several music instruments….six in all. It was clear that Travis had a gift. His music interest was replaced, for a brief time, with basketball. He accepted a basketball scholarship to Tennessee State University on a full basketball scholarship. He was classmates and friends with Gary “Lil G” of the 90’s group SILK. Travis worked part-time as a bouncer for several nightclubs in Nashville, and is also a black belt in Karate. Lil G hired Travis as a bodyguard for the group, and they began a national tour. Gary also gave Travis his long standing nickname, TINY, even though Travis is seven feet tall and weighs 350lbs. Travis continued working as a bodyguard and road manager for such big stars as Keith Sweat, ABC, Outkast, Samuel L. Jackson, Usher, Nick Cannon, Christina Milian, and many more. It was during a brief stay in Dallas, Texas where Travis’ love for music picked back up….just in 2005. On a dare from a college buddy, Travis set out to learn how to produce music. He would sit in on other producers sessions to learn, and in just a short period of time, his musical ability came to the attention of Mr. Collipark, label head and producer for the Ying Yang Twins, David Banner, Bonecrusher, Bubba Sparxx, Jamie Foxx, and more. With Mr. Collipark as a mentor, Travis’ skill grew even more, and in just over a year from buying his first piece of equipment, Travis landed track placements with Evander Holyfield’s E-South Records, and also sold a track to the Ying Yang Twinz that has been slated as the first single of their upcoming CD. “Tiny, this track will change the game and up the game, just like ‘Wait’ did for the music industry. Man, you got a hit here” – Mr. Collipark. Travis was only trying to win a dare from a college buddy that he could produce a track, now, Travis “Tiny” Webb has made history…the first bodyguard to ever physically produce a track, sold to a major artist. Now for the “number one spot” and Grammy time… INTRODUCING TRAVIS “TINY” WEBB and BODYGUARD BEATS
