21st September 2009: Ross Couch - The Directors Cut EP - Body Rhythm 018

Whilst working on the 'Night And Day' album I came up with over 20 ideas, but there was only space for 12 on the final LP. The ideas that didn't appear on the album weren't necessarily of inferior quality though, in many instances it was just that they either weren't finished in time or didn't fit style wise with the other tracks. For this new 'Directors Cut' EP I've chosen 3 of the ideas that didn't appear on the album and developed them into full tracks.

This EP is now out on full release and available from the following stores:

25th AUGUST 2009: Ross Couch - Changing Seasons Music Video

To support my new 'Changing Seasons' track from the 'Directors Cut EP' on Body Rhythm I've got an animated music video which you can watch below! The video wasn't made for the track, it's called 'Four Seasons' by talented Japanese Artist Tomoko Konoike and was produced in 2005 for a different project. However it is now available to use by way of the Creative Commons License and since it fitted the theme of my track so well I couldn't resist using it. Enjoy!

30th July 2009: Update

Ross' 'Night And Day' album is currently No.1 on the Deep House Album / Compilation chart at Juno Download, No.4 in the all house genres chart and No.11 on the overall album/comp chart (which is visible on the front page of the site). Currently every other release above it on the chart is a mix CD or compilation!

1st July 2009: New Interview and a new review for the album

Big respect goes out to the Beatport staff who are continuing to be supportive of my album. In an interview I did which they've chosen to appear on the main feed of their Beatportal site they describe the LP as "one of the most competent and well rounded house albums of the year, with a sound that bridges dancefloors and home stereos with warm soothing chords, serene vocals, funky rhythms and chunky house grooves." 27th June 2009: Ross Couch Album track "Last One Home" Featured by Beatport

"Last One Home" from Ross' new out "Night And Day" album was selected by Beatport as one of the 20 hottest tracks of the week on their "Beatport 20" radio show. The show contains the top 10 tracks on the site, plus "the 10 hottest new releases chosen by Beatport's team of experts".
