Bodyshock is a techno night that was started by Greg Foster and Greg Marshall in 2005. The nights that were put on were aimed at dancefloor techno. Greg Foster is well known around belfast and has played all over belfast, from shine to thompsons, art college to rise, he has been on the circuit a fair while playing house right through to techno. Greg Marshall has been running nights outside of belfast for the last 4 years and has been off the scene there. He ran Headshake in Dublin, Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow, in Ennis Co.Clare but prior to these he has held/guested at vico's, art college, copperfields, the edge, front page, auntie annies, laverys etc etc, but stuck mainly to tech house & techno. This year, 2008, the two Greg's hope to make the night a success, and build a reputation that will hopefully have a regular crowd in attendance. As residents, the two Greg's styles will vary in accordance with the monthly Guest DJ, so it could be anything from minimal glitch techno to pure chunky party techno. There is no particular styles associated with the night, mostly techno played at a decent tempo(not brain melting speeds), but as long as the music has balls and the people are up for it. We have quite a few big guests booked this year so far, and we are putting this myspace on to help with promotion, and what have you. We will also be booking local lads aswell to keep it balanced, as there are more and more new nights popping up in Belfast which is BRILLIANT to see. But before you can ask you may be wondering who the Ritalin Kidz are, we its a collaboration between Greg Marshall, Liam Doherty, and Greg Foster. all three of the lads are equally into different styles, so it only seemed sensiblile for them to sit down and see what the story was between them. Liam has had releases on Ade Fentons Advanced label with remixes for Northern Ireland techno dons The Celtec Twinz, , Greg Foster has had releases on Soolaboos records, and Greg Marshall has had releases on Soultech Recordings. It was a move that was innevitable. So as we move forward this year(which is a f**king tough one admittedly) we hope all that listen to us are enjoying our music. Its not groundbreaking thats for sure, but if it keeps you on the dancefloor , well ...job done we reckon.!!!!

New free Herv digital album out now on Cock Rock Disco!
Hi there,
Just a quick note to let you know that I have a new free digital release out now on Cock Rock Disco if you would like to take a listen.
Heres what label owner Jason Forrest / Dj Donna Summer had to say!
Herv: "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..."
"Ireland's sexiest laptopper lands his latest mini-album on Cock Rock Disco! "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..." is a rave inspired experimental break-acid-core thrill ride of endless ideas and possibilities. Herv packs a lot into the 8 tracks; melodies evolve and twist, beats fracture and congeal and synths collide! It's exciting! But that's not all, it comes with 2 cd designs and a freakin A0 sized poster! Whoa! Can't beat the value in that!"
