golf camel? that's the first time i've heard that term.
yes, i agree -- i'm becoming a golf camel, able to go long periods of time without golf and still come out and play recreationally decent! i think it's a nicer term than 'golf deprived' so i'm gonna own it! go golf camel! heh heh heh!!!

bogie, bogie, bogie! did phase I of my sasquatch experiment at miln gc driving range. it's dark way out there in the corner so i really couldn't tell which sasquatch was getting the ball out there farther -- lucky 13/a or reg 10.5/r. but interestingly, lucky 13/a was easier to hit, at least for me. and my spectators (jayson & especially his wife, debra) were saying that my ball flight & path were more consistent with lucky 13/a than with 10.5/r. they were uncertain as to which sasquatch was netting me more distance on the fly -- sometimes it'd be lucky 13 and other times 10.5. i may end up taking both SQ's w/me to olomana. i gotta admit, tho, that lucky 13 felt easier to hit and felt better overall to me. so with a better feel and a more consistent ball flight, maybe lucky 13 will be the winner.

phase II is playing both of them at olomana this coming saturday ... then i'll be able to see, for sure, which SQ will remain with me.

Jun 27 2007 6:01 AM

hey bogie! just wanted to let you know i already commandeered sue's lucky 13 sasquatch. well, she did agree to lending it to me so rather than commandeered, i guess i am legally borrowing it. picked up the other part of the experiment today and will prolly go to miln driving range tmrw night. but that's mainly to help a non-golfer hit some balls. i can experiment there a little bit. will let you know the outcome of "the experiment, phase I."
