Bottle necking, necking, stomping , bopping, basking, burning, breathing, arts, creations, water, solids, things, stuff, toys, you, me, them, us, freaks, froth, folds, fixations, fairy tales, cartoons, car tunes, campers, cans, rust, animals, open roads, closed roads, clutter, cleanliness, , everything, anything, something, light, dark, soft, hard, sky, ground, scissors, stabbers, stencils, spray paint, demolition, building, scratching, petting, pushing, pulling, painting, obviously i could make this part incredibly long. so etc.... and One day I will bottle an answer to regrowth, second chances, and learning the hard way, a science fiction novel they will call it, but it will be bottled so there will be no way to read it because the words will bleed all together in an unreadable fashion and then you will finally realize maybe I was onto something and in the confusion of it all if youjust sat back and read this rant it wouldnt change a god damn thing and so now i am forced to end with a blunt object to the head and reincarnation of sacred values in a duey decimal smell off to lick lolly gaggers and collect moon shine from the snarling teeth of your doberman do you believe in your own self worth capable of doing it all and then pretending you were wasting your time I sculpt you a question in the nearest form possible glue it together because your life isnt the only one that keeps breaking.

"I made this video for a first year video class in the Intermedia/Cyberarts program at Concordia University back in 2007. If I recall correctly, the concept for the piece was to create three different vignettes that somehow represented texture, motion, and abstraction (in that order, I believe). At the time I'd been watching a lot of early 20's and 30's avant-garde cinema and tried to work under similar constraints in editing with cuts and dissolves only and in using/outputting to Black & White. The name of the video is actually a play on Marcel Duchamp's "Anemic Cinema". The naming of Ambrosia Eggeling in the credits is a reference to Viking Eggeling, who is to me one of the most interesting and inspiring experimental film makers of that time. Of note, my good friend Lucien Shapiro provided the hairball sculpture which, in haste, I negligently
named Nano Phil in the credits."
