| General | I love carpet, I love desk, and I love lamp. I REALLY DO LOVE LAMP! there I said it. It's out there now. | | Music | "Without music, life would be a mistake." -uh, some dead guy. I won't disagree. Dead guys usually know what they're talking about. | | Movies | The one where the guy says "That's-a one spicy meatball!!" The rest of them suck. | | Television | Tivo effing rules. (I'm not a "rock horns" type of person, but I have to acknowledge this would be an ideal place to bust them out.) So do the Vancouver Canucks (well, they WILL this year), so do the Phoenix Suns, and every team with an Arizona in its name. Oh, and so do the oldies on TCM. | | Books | My bookcase is loaded mostly with non-fiction. I've read half of it - and no, I haven't read The Art of War (the question I always get when people see my bookcase). I could stand to read more fiction - I guess I'd read it more often if the books could talk back to me in TV-form. | | Heroes | My grandparents. I have a fondness for Rodney Dangerfield, who at age ~40 decided to stop selling aluminum siding and become a comedian. My grandparents have similar stories (the common thread being Colbert-sized huevos).

About me:
What do you want to know? I've been living in Los Angeles, well, a while now, but the route has been Vancouver (the Canadian one), Phoenix, Tucson, Boston, then here. I work at JPL in Pasadena on the Cassini project, a two-story satellite orbiting Saturn, its rings, and its highly unique moons. I do stand-up comedy as well (finally! I have a clip below!!! hazzah!!) Travel every now and then too, though for whatever reason mostly to South America, Israel (OK this is for family) or here in the States.
Oh wait never mind, this is me again, but much later in time - I probably should mention I moved projects. I'll write more about it when I feel like it.
