,,Több mint egy éve muzsikálunk az iFben. Ezalatt több mint száz kíváló zenész játszott ebben a kis kávézóban. A musorpolitika annyi volt: megtisztelve érezzük magunkat ha tehetséges zenészek szeretnek nálunk játszani és abban a sorrendben ahogy adódott igyekeztünk lehetoséget biztosítani. Egyre több lett a visszatéro, rendszeres fellépo. A Bohm trió kezdeményezte, hogy havi rendszeres az utolsó hétvégére eso fellépésüket nevezzük KLUB-nak, és legyen ez a fellépés a musorpolitika része. A jövo héten, november 28-án lesz a következo klubnap, amikor a rajongók közvetlen közelrol hallhatják Karosi Julit, Oláh Dezsot és Bohm Dánielt. Setlist
Our sets are usually
between an hour and an hour and a half in concert,
or two or three blocks of 45 minutes.
A typical repertoire would include
jazz standards (e.g. Bill Evans, Chet Baker, Shirley Horn) and
pop covers (like Sting, Cyndi Lauper or Moloko)
as well as our own compositions.
Basic Requirements
- The double bass amplified through a bulit in piezzop pick up,
the bass player needs a microphone and a DI box.
- We prefer to perform with an acoustic piano,
if it's not available the pianist needs a digital piano.
- One standard professional microphone is needed for the lead vocals, with stand.
- We need three monitor speakers with separate routes
(one monitor speaker for each musician)

If you are an ambitious jazzgroup with young musicians you can inscribe for the Jazz Hoeilaart Contest 2009 until the 15th of may. The festival, which is organised by Muziekmozaïek in collaboration with vzw De Rand, will take place from the 24th until the 26th of September and is intended for young international Jazz talent.
The 30-years old festival has its reputation for bringing international talent into the spotlights. Many known artists, such as Rosario Guiliani, Michiel Borstlap, Magnus Lindgren, Alexi Tuomarila and Robin Verheyen were on stage at this international contest.
The 31st edition of the contest will open on Thursday the 24th of September 2009. Until the 26th of September six finalists will perform in a contest-formula. Each evening will close with performances of Jack Van Poll/ Jef Neve/ Bart Van Caeneghem/ Ewout Pierreux (24/09), Hijaz (25/09), en Cintia Rodriguez (28/09). Ambitious young musicians can inscribe for the contest-section until the 15th of May 2009.
