i LOVE to read. I feel it broadens the mind.I love to just curl up with a good book on a cold winter day with a warm blanket and a hot cup of cocoa and just read my heart out!Unfortunally i don't get this time,but hey,i can dream! I like poetry,self-help books,books on other cultures. I like reading about history like the Salem witch trials. I like mysteries and novels set in different periods of time. And of course i always love cookbooks! LOl I'm very much a bookworm!

My closest friends have always been there for me through good times and hard times.And it has been very tough since finding out that my only child,Logan has been diagnosed with Autism.It's been 4 years now since he got his dx.But with a lot of therapies, he is getting better.Back when he was diagnosed, i prayed for a cure so bad,but now as we grow to understand that Autism is not a disease...it is a state of being,i've come to realize that if you take away autism,then you take away my little boy,the little boy with all the quirkiness that makes me love him. He has taught me not to conform him to your world but rather enter into his spectacular one.He has taught me to slow down and notice how the rain puddles looks like they have rainbows in them. He has showed me that being different is ok and not to worry about what the rest of the world has to say about it. He is the light of my life! I love him with all my heart and wouldn't trade him for the world!
Most times i'm happy but it's a roller coaster struggle.All my life i've tried to find happiness! Right when it seemed like i was there, my life turned upside down when my husband of 8 years left me. I'm currently going through a rough divorce and i'm longing for finality and peace. It won't be the same happiness that i was aiming for but together my son and i will make our own happiness! i've confirmed that friends are truly gems! I've also found that i am alot stronger than i ever though i was. I am beautiful, i am smart, and i will get through this!
I try to be a conscientious consumer, live green,& conserve. i eat organic foods,don't eat red meat(i'm slowly trying to go completely Vegan),and i recycle.i love being crafty and i adore arts and music. it's good for the soul.I cry at sappy romantic comedies and i close my eyes when sad or beautiful music is playing!
I'm pretty outgoing with ppl i know,but can be reserved around others until i get used to them but that doesn't stop me from wanting to meet new ppl.I looove being witty,it keeps lightyears off me and gets me through difficult situations.I love to chat...sometimes too much..lol.And sometimes, i just want to be by myself. Who I'd like to meet: I have made so many wonderful friends online that i would love to meet one day. I would also like to meet Cecily Tyson because she is truly a kindred spirit. Lauren Grahm(just because she is my most favorite actress ever)I would just love hanging out with her at a coffee shop, chatting, enjoying her wittiness. I would also love to meet more people who share my aspects and aspirations in life. I think they've been scarred for life from the zoo there. We went last trip and got caught in a huge downpour that flooded the zoo. "Poo water" was running rampant and it wasn't a nice thing for sure. We got trapped in the alligator exhibit of all places. LOL

Doing well - catching up on housework & laundry from being gone on vacation all last week. We went to New Mexico - even had a tiny bit of snow and my kids were acting like crazies lol. Thankfully we missed all those storms in Texas.
How's it going on your end? I told hubby we gotta hurry and get to Lafayette soon. He agreed.
Raw garlic. I know you can get the honey at Gotreaux Farm where I buy veggies on Wednesdays, but we get ours from Jeromy's grandpa & uncle. It's really good.
