    Our address is 608 South 500 East. We are open from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm everyday and have many community resources that we encourage all to take advantage of regardless of race, gender, political belief, sexuality, religion, class affiliation and lifestyle choice.

    These include:

    • 1. Complimentary internet access.
    • 2. A large lending library.
    • 3. Political videos and dvd's, some available for sale, all to be borrowed.
    • 4. A large zine collection.
    • 5. Media for sale at no profit to us, that are otherwise hard to get.
    • 6. A group meeting area (must be arranged in advance).
    • 7. Food Not Bombs in the park behind Boing! every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11am-12pm.
    • 8. Boing! Cafe every Saturday night, with an open mic, and vegan food! Some menu items are fixed, others are rotated. All donations go towards the radical library. This goes from 9PM-12AM.
    • 9. Anarchist Cafe, with scheduled skillshares and other such happenings. Ever 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month starting at 5:30, bring some food, as it is a potluck.
    • 10. A comfortable place to hang out, talk and just be yourself.

    to whom it may concern the fact that you guys have stopped doing shows has put a damper on our local music scene  now i can understand the argument of neighbors and noise complaints and agree that a certain number of electric based shows is a bit excessive but for you guys to complete stop doing shows is ridiculous their are tons of cool bands that would love to come through here but since we have no venue space i always could of counted on boing. if it was for shows i wouldn't know what the hell boing house is and a know  a few others that feel the same way. i always hear the arguement that you guys wanna focus on communite events i couldnt think of a more community event then a show

    boing gave kids a place to enjoy many good bands and for you to take that privilige away is ludacris

    im not asking for a show every other day but once in awhile wouldnt hurt

    Last month, in Riverside Manufactured Home Community in West Valley City, two seniors, one a Korean War vet, were served with eviction notices after having an argument with the manager over their neglect to repair a flood problem. This is just one example of what is happening all around us, in and out of Manufactured Home Communities.
    Please come out November 14th to speak out and help get legislation passed against absurd rent increases and retaliatory evictions at the Main SLC Library from 1:00-3:00pm. Please pass the word on, much support is needed.

    Hey you guys .... I was just wondering if any of you guys know about Open mic at spyhop 211s 500w it is 3-7 every friday night and it is free recording for local artists. (for open mic you need someone under 19) yeah it is a awesome deal and we really dont see many bands there and i would like to see some more come in. bands get an hour and single people get 30min.
